What’s a PharmCast? Well, it’s just an enhanced podcast (or “vodcast”) about a pharmacy topic. I just call them PharmCasts because I like it better. I think it makes me feel like there is a branding theme with this website. If you think there is such a theme, it’s probably an accident. Anyhow, these are all projects created by hardworking students from Drake University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. New PharmCasts are are being added every month, so be sure to check back. If you have an idea for a topic, please feel free to suggest one!
Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics/Pharmacogenetics
Here are the PharmCasts that were associated with the Broadlawns Resident PharmCast Project that took place from December 2014 to April 2015. These were sent to participating Family Practice and Transitional Year residents at Broadlawns Medical Center and demonstrated that the PharmCasts are an effective teaching tool (publication forthcoming).
